Nå er det nye året vel underveis og hittil har jeg måttet deale med en vannlekasje på kjøkkenet. Det rant i kjelleren og nå har forsikringen vært på besøk - revet taket nede og satt inn store tørker og avfuktere. Jeg har ramelt og slått ryggen - fått ryddet i kjeller'n (dvs kastet mye skrot) - holder på å "pakke ned" alt på kjøkkenet. Bestemt at jeg skal rive en vegg - for å åpne opp til stuen, tatt ut nytt gulvbelegg og sliter med å finne nye benkeplater jeg liker! Bestemt meg for å kaste ut den gamle jøtul ovenen på kjøkkenet og sette inn en moderne vedkamin i stedet. Sist onsdag ble det bare litt nok å tenke på at jeg skal bo på en byggeplass i 4 md. - så jeg booket 5 1/2 ukes ferie til Kreta! litt av en uke...

The new year is well on its way and so fare I have had to deal with a broken pipe in the kitchen. Water was dripping in the basement and I had to call in the insurance guys. - The have now thourn down the roof downstairs and put in big fans to get rid of the moist. I fell and hurt my back - cleaned out some rubbish from the basement (interesting how much we accumulate... I defenetly is suffering from not-able-to-throw-away-syndrome!). Now I have to box up most of my kitchen. I decided to tear down a wall between the kitchen and the living room. Have decided on new flooring - struggeling to find the ringht tops for the kitchen - but are well on my way to madness...thinking I will be living on a building site for the next 4 mths. - so after deciding to also change the fireplace - I booked a 5 1/2 weeks holiday in the island of Krete in Greece this summer... well done for a start on the new year don't you think ?
